Clean and comfortable hotel. Reception were friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size for Tokyo (if you’re from the UK, it’s slightly smaller than a Premier Inn room). The bed has a firm mattress which I found really comfortable. You have tea making facilities, a fridge and a good selection of toiletries. You also get pyjamas and slippers to use. The room was spotless and clean.
The breakfast was a mixture of European and Asian food. The selection wasn’t massive but there is enough to choose from and all of it is well made and presented. The staff who work in the restaurant are very friendly too.
The locations is good. There are a couple of convenience stores within 2 mins walk and Simbashi Station is around 10 mins walk and gives you access to lots of train lines to explore Tokyo.
Hotel was located walking distance to several trains (~10 min), Tokyo Tower and the Ginza shopping district. Hotel was light & bright with the room a good size (we had a standard Queen room) & hood value for money compared to previous accom we had in Shinjuku. There was also complimentary matcha / tea in the morning & the afternoon, which was an added bonus.
After a long travel day, it was so nice to be greeted by the friendly staff at the hotel even though it was much later than we planned to get there. The privacy and quiet of the sleeping quarters were excellent. I could hardly tell anyone else was there except in the lobby. I know Bidets are not exclusive to Japan, but wow are they fancy and make you inclined to try it out. Thank you for the great stay and intro to a cleaner, ahem, body part.
Service staff was very friendly, and there are free tea tasting available in the lobby everyday. The property seems new. The only downside is the property is a bit far from the train station , there is no coin laundry available on-site and the room is small.
We stayed here on our last night before heading back to the airport, the location is a bit far from the nicer spots in tokyo but if you want chic, clean, boutique hotel close to shinbasu area , I liked that its a 20 min walk to ginza which has the best shops and restaurants in my opinion. The matcha and matcha icecream is amazing, if you stay here make sure to visit the cafe!
Well deserved travel award. The hotel experience was perfect for me and my family. I wished I could have stayed longer! I didn’t get to try the breakfast, but strongly recommend the tea time at the front desk. There are convenient stores within 5 minutes of walking as well as a 24 hr laundromat. I flew into HND airport and the train ride on the red line was under 40 minutes to Daimon station. It’s a 10 minute walk. If you got luggage’s and stroller, take a taxi. The quiet neighborhood of Minato is worth a stroll however, given good weather
This is the best place to stay in Tokyo, hands-down. Beautiful and simple interior, great location, helpful staff. Price outstanding. Highly recommend.
Rooms are on the small side, but they were well designed.
Gorgeous, state of the art room. A bigger softer pillow would have been nice but that may well just be a cultural difference. I bet if I had asked one would have been provided.
