There was blood both on my mattress and spots of blood on the floor. The Tom’s are smaller than they look and are generally damp and humid. Would not recommend it at all
The location is great for those who enjoy a night out, a very short 2 minute stroll to Golden Gai, a beautiful vintage market on Sunday at the Shrine across the road and many convenience stores and Daiso in the area. Our room was large and had decent sound proofing. Unfortunately the room is in dire need of a remodel, the carpet tiles were lifted with big sticky glue patches and mould in the bathroom. They let us store our bags before checkin and afterwards which we greatly appreciated.
There are convenience stores and pharmacies nearby, so it is very convenient

I like the location. 8 minutes walk from Shinjuku station and very close to Kabukicho. The room feels a bit old. The ceiling light was a bit hard to adjust, and there’s no room services (guests have to grab new towel themselves). So overall, great location, average room.
It's a fair walk from the station but right beside Golden Gai and Kabukicho and a 10 minute walk from the park. And there are plenty of affordable places to eat at nearby.
The rooms are quite depressing. The hotel is very scruffy with scuff marks on the walls everywhere. They have a "no cleaning" policy during stays, but I really wondered if they clean much between visits. The bed is also of low quality. (I stayed in 13 hotels this trip and about 47 if I count earlier trips.) So many hotels have air purifiers which I never use, but here I would have liked one because it is a smoking only hotel. Yes, all rooms are smoking rooms. Unfortunately, there was no air purifier. The breakfast was also very mediocre, but then again, it cost almost nothing.
Despite these misgivings, the location makes up for a lot and I would consider staying here again.

More like a budget hotel
Average hotel, a little far to walk to Shinjuku station. The service average and towel need to be collected. However, the price very reasonable.
This is as a great place to stay for our first trip to Japan. A proper 3 star hotel with all needed amenities and very professional and courteous staff. We liked that they had linen available in the lobby for us to grab as needed and umbrella’s available for when it rained. It was also close to an Anytime Fitness, so be sure to bring your fob if you are a member. The only challenge was the room was very small, but we got used to it and made it work. Small rooms are the norm here but as an American, it was an adjustment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe, quiet and comfortable stay in the Shinjuku area.
Great location. Its about a block from an underground subway tunnel that will take you to all the trains in Shinjuku. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. The only thing I was disappointed in was the TV didn't have any English stations. If you want to enjoy Shinjuku, this is the place.
I liked the quiet room with comfortable bed.
I did not like the hard pillows or that there was no tea or coffee provided in the room, or unless you paid for the breakfast package.
This hotel is nicer then some of the reviews earlier. I stayed in main hotel and now the annex. I like annex room as it has a more vintage appeal with cool lamps. This shinjuku area is fun to explore too. Good value!
Despite the long walk to Shinjuku station, i loved staying here. Staff was very pleasant, and even had a good sense of humor whenever we had service they would tuck in the stuffed animals. The bakery attached to the hotel was amazing for a quick breakfast and beyond delicious.
If youre not one for long walks to the main station, take sanchome for a three minute ride to Shinjuku JR station. Thank for the hospitable stay :)

The hotel is very conveniently located. It's steps from the closest subway station and a short walk away from the main Shinjuku area. There are convenience stores right across from the hotel. The rooms are pretty small with minimal amenities, which is what you expect from most budget hotels in Asia. The bathroom is very small. There was a bit of a smell of smoke even though we were in a non-smoking room.
