If you only want a place to sleep, MONday apartments will do. If you want a comfortable place to wind down at the end of the day or take some time in the morning to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee or breakfast, this is not the place. It is not homey, welcoming or relaxing. It is a room with beds, a bathroom and a washing machine, nothing more. No other furniture save a table with two chairs but it was quite large and in the middle of the (very small) room so we had to push it up against the wall in order to have space to move around. There was no view and hardly any outside light. In a city like Tokyo, with the crowds and hustle and bustle, we didn’t look forward to returning in the evenings even though we were tired. The location is decent, 10 mins to Akihabara Station which can get you anywhere and offers any kind of food you may want, but the neighborhood, while safe, had no charm or personality. In hindsight, a hotel would have been more comfortable but we wanted a washer/dryer. As it turns out, laundry rooms are pretty common in Tokyo hotels, especially the large chains. I searched for a long time for a place to stay in Tokyo, I should have searched harder.

The apartment is in a quiet location away from the main busy areas, but there are convenient stores and a supermarket just around the corner, making it easy to grab daily essentials. It’s only a 10-minute walk from Akihabara Station, so getting around is hassle-free. The apartment was clean and peaceful, which is perfect for families with kids as is easy for them to relax and sleep after a long day out. It had all the necessary amenities, and we especially appreciated having a washer/dryer, making it convenient to do laundry at night. However, you’ll need to buy your own detergent as only one packet is provided. I absolutely loved staying here and would definitely book again if I ever return to Japan!

A comfy stay in Akihabara

What a great stay in Akihabara! BIG space, BIG shower/bath combo and a BIG washer and dryer machine which was so incredibly useful. I used this a lot. The big fridge and microwave also made my stay very comfortable. A very quick walk to the station and there's so much to eat and drink around the area. Very good. This is an easy recommendation for families and big groups.

This room was spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids (age 5/10). I love how this was an apartment style hotel. Close to Akihabara train station, which is about 7 mins walking wise. Lots of restaurants nearby that you can’t go wrong eating at. Dryer/washer combo available to use and very convenient. I would stay here again.

The receptionists at the front desk were all so friendly! I liked how our apartment style room had a dryer/washer combo making it very convenient to pack light for our trip. They were also able to store our luggages for 4 days free of charge while we traveled to Osaka and return back for another 2 days before we headed home. Will definitely stay here again!

Awesome location about 5 minutes walk to Akihabara station. Friendly staff, Hayashi was very nice, when we couldn’t find the location he went outside to look for us. The room has washer/dryer a big table, kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook. We are very happy we found this place.
