It’s my first time to Japan and was overwhelmed where to stay after hearing so many great suggestions. After much researching, I knew I wanted to stay in Asakusa area for the charm and location. I couldn’t decide on whether Airbnb or hotel. Richmond Premier Hotel caught my attention and after much consideration, I thought why not. It was the best decision I made for staying the 5 nights at this hotel. The hotel was very modern, clean, spacious, friendly and helpful staff, close to train station, attractions and unlimted food stalls. Extra bonus…Donki is right around the corner. During my initial booking, I did book another 2 nights after doing 5 days in Osaka. This hotel is truly amazing and I look forward staying back here when I return back to Japan!

Our first stop in Japan was this hotel in Asakusa, and it was absolutely perfect. The location made everything easy just a short walk from the station, with lots of attractions and restaurants nearby. It’s definitely in a tourist area, but it never felt overwhelming or noisy. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially when assisting us with sending our luggage to the next hotel. The check-in and check-out process was quick and smooth, and everything about the hotel felt clean and efficient. I especially loved the laundry service (which is a must) you can actually check washer and dryer availability in real time on the TV in your room! Would stay again!!

sensoji temple literally a very short walk. uniqlo in first floor. hotel in 5th floor. hotel foyer very well kept. From our room ( mountain view room its called ) the dining room and outside -views of lighted tower and sensoji temple pagoda- especially at night was the best. Room amenities- little sachets of toiletries, free drinks and little snacks, available drinking water, laundry, weighing scale -all very thoughtful touches. However- Room had stained carpet, bathroom facilities a little hard to make out.

Don Quijote to one side, Uniqlo (which the hotel is above), kimono rental and food on the fourth floor, more restaurants on the third floor, Food Mart just around the corner, and Senso-Ji Temple is a minute walk from main entrance. There is a covered street straight forward a few blocks which you can find all kinds of shops and places to eat. There are some places for Gachapon, cranesn and arcades in the area with a small amusement park heading behind the hotel. If you don't want to go far from the hotel to enjoy your day, it's possible. The Sumida River is also close by if you would like to take a boat ride. There are two stations nearby, the Asakusa Tsukaba Express just seconds from Don Quijote and the Asakusa Line about five minutes away from hotel, but just a short walk from the Kaminari Mon Gate.

El Hotel El Tokyo fue perfecto para mi familia y para mí. La ubicación es ideal, súper bien conectado con el metro, en un barrio tranquilo y hermoso que nos encantó. Al principio teníamos dudas al reservar, pero ahora no nos arrepentimos para nada. La habitación es pequeña, pero está bien diseñada y el personal es increíblemente amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Además, el hotel tiene todo lo que necesitas para una estancia cómoda. Tener un Don Quijote y un Uniqlo a pocos pasos fue la cereza del pastel. ¡Definitivamente volveríamos!
