Corporate sterile soulless environment Had to wait 25 minutes for two poached eggs Cumberland sausages and bacon tasteless Impossible to alter bedroom temperature Lack of card to invite housekeeping to make up my room. Only two cards to do not disturb and for breakfast room service Reception staff greeting like robotic metronomes with insincere smiles The eyes disconnected from the mouths Bar area wholly uninviting which explains the absence of any guests having a drink What I shall recall most is the Housekeeping staff just lovely and engaging

Parking was an additional charge. Window didnt seem to close properly, and let in a draught. Air con kept the room at a steady 30+oC, regardless of the setting, and some of the light fittings either didnt work or were flickering continuously. Otherwise, hotel was in a good central location, and overall stay was enjoyable
