This was fairly convenient for the NEC event 'Festival of Quilts' - it took about 15 minutes to walk there. However, it did not seem to be on the free NEC shuttle bus route in a direct way but the reception sorted a taxi for us when it was raining heavily one morning. We ate dinner in their restaurant, which was excellent; and nice that the staff recognised us the second time!
Hotel is comfortable & all staff we met were helpful, cheerful & efficient. Food was good. Only problem we had was trying to find it amongst the on going road works, signage was awful & the experience, after a difficult 4 hour journey, would put me off visiting again.
Do NOT stay here, truly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
The staff are incredibly rude, dismissive & genuinely seem to be annoyed anyone is staying there.
The room was utterly disgusting, the bathroom smelt like sewage the moment we walked in.
The air conditioning was leaking throughout the stay.
The room itself was dirty, it was small & nothing like the pictures.
The worst hotel I’ve stayed at, far better options in the area.
Stayed for one night to attend an event in the NEC, hotel is about a 10 minute easy walk away. The hotel itself is clean and staff are friendly. I can't comment on the food as we ate out. Plenty of parking at the hotel, free until 2pm on day of departure. You can park for longer for a reasonable cost.

We had 2x rooms booked. 1 family room and 1 double room. The double room didnt have aircon, with the windows open the main road was quite loud. But both rooms were very clean and comfortable.
The swimming pool / area was really nice, however you need to book time slots so bare that in mind.
During the night the only drinking water you can get is via the security desk £4 for a 750ml bottle.
The bar staff were amazing. They set the tv up in the back room for us to watch the F1 race.
