Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Really good stay, such friendly owners, really comfy beds, only issue was shower wasn’t very powerful but it did it’s job, would definitely go back! Went for my birthday weekend and you get a front door key so could come in whenever which was also really good
Hotel owner was nice and friendly, but for the price i paid i would of liked my own ensuite and a breakfast, ok for one night but not a family holiday.
Nice little hotel close to local transport links. Room was nice and clean with tea/coffee making facilities and digital tv. Did not have any meals due to us not being available at the times as we were out raving to clubland 2018! The owners ( Mathew and Michael ) were very friendly and informative despite only having the hotel for a month or two and knew what they were doing!
All in all, a great hotel along with great hosts!
Stayed for 4 nights and would happily stay again. Beds very comfy, rooms were spotless and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Parking was a bit tricky, could of paid for car park down the road but found a spot closer in the end as most streets were resident parking only(which is an excellent idea but a bit annoying as lot of spaces unused). Tram station two minute walk away and once found our bearings shops were a five minute walk. Only needed somewhere to sleep as we had lots to do and see.
Cheap enough but the room certainly reflected that. Decor which might warrant being in a museum; feels like you've stepped back in time, and not in a good retro way. Needs a complete overhaul. Clean sheets but everything else grubby.
Bearing in mind that Blackpool is known for its nightlife, isn't it about time that 10am checkouts were also consigned to history? Old, stiff towels and a shared bathroom with carpeted floor?! Yuck.
On leaving, there was no 'thank you', 'did you enjoy your stay' or any sense from the landlady that we might possibly return, just a 'safe journey', probably because it's highly unlikely that they get any repeat business.
hosts were lovely place was basic but clean. check out was 10am slightly early for myself as doing the pleasure beach was exausting. was just the right distance from the busy part of Blackpool so was nice and quiet
Christine and Roy made us all feel welcome. The rooms, bathroom was nicely decorated and the bed and bedding was clean. The breakfast in the mornings was great with a choose of cereal provided and a pot of tea and the toast was on the table waiting when we came down, the cooked breakfast was really good as well. Would go back and stay again and also recommend the hotel to family and friends.
