The parking is a joke. Yes it was stated that parking would cost £10 but it didn’t say where you would pay. There is a parking terminal right outside the hotel which you have to walk past to get to the hotel so we just paid there, an extra £20 at that! No reimbursement or anything from the hotel. Ridiculous

Check in was not good We were given a room with two single beds and only found out when we went to room. Requested a standard room as that’s what we had booked and told they was none. Then after making a fuss the guy found a room. Guy at reception didn’t seem bothered with what he is doing :

Car park security terrible
Stay was great, Parked my car right out side the front of the hotel, i could see it from the check in desk. When i came down in the morning someone had stolen my tow bar! security not so good. Asked for the CCTV and was told only released to the police, no point calling the police as they only work for money these days. So my one night cost me an extra £250.00

Excellent stay, however our key cards kept getting deactivated by NEC metal detectors, and we had to keep going down to reception to reactivate them. It would be useful for the entrances to have signs notifying guests that if they have visited the NEC they should get their cards reset at reception before trekking to their rooms.
