I think hotel cen is a great option for the price point. The hotel is a bit less nice than the photos (but overall well kept and fine) and it’s very conveniently located next to the subway. The staff was friendly and the rooms (although small) did the trick.
Nice simple well located hotel for East Shinjuku. Friendly staff, small but comfortable rooms. Great value.

My room smelled like a dirty sock, to the point that I couldn't sleep because of the smell. I had to run to Daiso for fabric refresher and use the entire thing on the tiny room. I recommend for the GM to have the carpets cleaned thoroughly ASAP. Gross feet + Tokyo humidity = gross smells. Also I was disappointed the breakfast that came with my booking wasa coffee, 2 mini croissants and a large spoonful of potato salad. I don't really recommend this hotel unless you really want or need to have LGBTQ+ friendly. The cafe staff members were wonderful.
Friendly staff. Room was expectedly small but served its purpose. Breakfast was simple but good. The bar was lovely to hang out in. Dryer in laundry was average but signage tells you this.
Great shower (it's definitely small though) with proper pressure and nice and firm mattress - what more you need from your hotel in Tokyo? Excellent staff - helpful and speaks English.
The staff was courteous and helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. The layout of the room was thoughtful and made good use of the space. Bedding was comfortable and the room quiet.
They respond quickly to my queries and requests. The bed was good and firm including firm pillows that i requested. A good night sleep is so essential for a traveller. Location was excellent. Not too near the busy shinjuku station and not too far for us to walk to the shinjuku station. Staff ever so friendly and welcoming. A very good experience for me.
