This was the perfect finale for our trip to Japan. Quiet boutique hotel with designer touches and fantastic dining (make sure to get the Japanese breakfast, reservations one day ahead). The onsen was unforgettable: picture yourself in an outdoor hot spring on the roof overlooking the Tokyo skyline at night. Epic! The neighborhood is full of hidden gems and very walkable.
What a gem of a location. Not too far from Shinjuku station and close to several subways. My only complaint was that our room was very dusty. No ventialltion to air it out. Other than that, staff were great and very helpful, and the reaturant food was amazing as well as the onsen ( as the water is imported from Hakone). Highly recommended.
Ok, the room is a bit small, but that is pretty much the case for most hotels in Tokyo, especially in Shinjuku. What is surprising in a nice way is the thoughts they put into it in ensuing a comfortable stay for us. The in-room tea set and snacks is a nice gesture. The all-in-one room with the vending machine, microwave oven, water and ice machines, and laundry service is also extremely useful. Having an onsen on the top floor is also a nice surprise. Finally, the restaurant provides great dinner. In the end we enjoyed our stay very much.
Favorite hotel we stayed at in Tokyo. Very nice and clean and spacious. They offer great amenities. They have daily room service cleaning which is rare in Japan. Loved how there was a 7/eleven directly in front of the hotel to grab light snacks. It is about a 10 minute walk from the main attraction in Shinjuku area.so be prepared to walk a little. Overall lovely hotel!
The property is superb and a hidden gem of the city. Check-in was fine, and the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, the staff on duty during check-out did not seem very friendly or accommodating.
Overall, my stay was pleasant and great.
The property is designed to give a peaceful feeling. The onsen is so relaxing and serene with a beautiful view. The free popsicles are so nice, thank you! The room is small with no closet space or notepad and pen. But I am coming back.
Hotel was designed to look like a traditional Japanese hotel with bamboo screens and muted tones. The area around was quite quiet. There was not much to do without walking some way. The rooms were small but well designed to maximize space. The staff were quiet and reserved but helped with queries. We unfortunately didnât use the Onsen as it was crowded when we were available to use but the app was useful in monitoring how busy it was at various times. We didnât have breakfast so canât comment on the food.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The stuff in the property is not friendly at all, I didnât feel welcomed. Also if you are Asian, you might experience resist in this hotel. Lot of foreigners stay in this hotel, when I went to the public hot spring, one Caucasian lady was super rude and racist. With the price I paid for the service and environment, definitely not worth it. Also very far away from the subway station, at least 10 minutes walk.
This is a hotel emphasize minimalism and zen feeling. As soon as you walk in you have the pressure to be very quiet. At first it was fine, after a few days of lack of interests to provide services from the staffs, it just makes me feel very cold. Hotel staffs seem like theyâre afraid of you talking to them. A few are nice and smiley but kept their conversation minimal. Others just showing one question is too much especially one particular staff during check in time. Very uninterested and cold. One staff Chris is very nice though. They donât clean and replace your tea cups and refill some basic stuffs like toothbrush and Q tips. But room is genuinely clean and comfortable. Except the design of window is low on the floor level. I bumped my head twice as there is a wall built above the low window. Very weird design. All windows are on the floor level. Walls at your eye level. And easy to bump your head everywhere.
On the last day when we were checking out, we saw a bug crawling in the room.
