The location was very close to train stations& walkability to restaurants and shops was really great. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet that they offer is okay but needs more variety, have stayed at other hotels that provided a much better spread of dishes. We will definitely stay here again, the location is great and safe.

Great Location! Private washer/dryer! Love this.
Location was excellent! Just a few blocks to major luxury shopping malls with food court full of overwhelming delicious food choices. Ippudo Ramen right next to the back exist of the hotel was so convenient. Staff was friendly. The room had private laundry machine/dryer, a little breakfast nook, shelf full of mugs and utensils we could use for tea/coffee. I wish this location also has kitchenette that the other Tokyu Stay in Aoyama has. Overall it was clean and great. I think the vertical space in the room can be utilized more, to install shelves or hooks to hang things. Coming from the USA, I expected hotels in Japan to be much less spacious and it was, barely had space for luggage. However all the other hotels we stayed at in Japan were like that.

**Hotel Review: Unfriendly Staff and Inadequate Amenities in a Central Location** Upon arrival at the hotel, our initial interaction with the reception staff was marked by a noticeable lack of cordiality, setting an unfavorable tone for the remainder of our stay. The dismissive attitude encountered when we requested basic amenities such as water—a fundamental necessity in such hot weather —was particularly disconcerting. The staff's suggestion to buy water from a nearby convenience store was indicative of their unwillingness to provide even minimal guest services, highlighting a significant lapse in hospitality standards. Despite the hotel's advantageous central location, the overall guest experience was affected by the pervasive lack of care of the staff. Throughout our stay, we were met with unhelpfulness, culminating in an uncomfortable atmosphere where even simple inquiries seemed burdensome to the employees. Furthermore, we were informed that daily housekeeping services were contingent upon an additional fee which we had to pay to keep a clean room. An isolated instance of good service occurred at the end of our stay when one staff member provided assistance with packing our suitcase using rope and tape and stopping a taxi. This, however, was a rare moment of helpfulness that did little to offset the overwhelmingly negative interactions that characterized our visit. In summary, if you like the location, choose another hotel.

最初に用意された部屋のトイレが誰かが大で使用したような匂いがしました。信じられないです。フロントに電話すると別の部屋を用意して下さりましたがその部屋のトイレも最初の部屋よりはマシレベルの匂い。係の方にこういうクレームはないですか？と伺いましたが、いやぁ…ないですねとの事ですがちょっとありえないと思います。 3回目に用意された部屋のバスルームは匂いはかなりマシになりましたが、シャワーカーテンが生乾きの匂いがしました。お部屋の床も汚いのでずっと使い捨てのスリッパを履いてました。もう使いません。

Good size rooms (residence room) love that it has a washing machine! It’s a dream if you are staying for longer. And has a little kitchenette which is great to have to prepare breakfast. The area is great, very walkable, and couple of metro stations and bus stops around. The cleanliness could really be better. Lot’s of dust everywhere and the washroom did not look or feel so clean, so maybe have a disinfectant on hand…

I was not notified about the checkout time at sharp 11 until the checkout day morning and after request the agreed grace time for checkout is 11:30. I rushed back to room and got luggage ready to check out, and arrived at lobby at 11:38. Then the staff insisted on fining me late checkout. When I was trying to explain that the 8min delay was due to my 60-year old mother and me carrying two loaded baggages and it also took some time to wait for the lift, a senior-aged staff (with a badge of an intern 研習中, think her name is 鈴木 although she sneakily took off her name badge after I demanded mark down her name) abruptly stopped me and scolded that no way would excuse be accepted and added ‘this is Japan, not your home country’. Her attitude astounded me as I have never experienced anything before as a frequent traveller to a country well known for service with smile. I firmly rebutted what she said with a louder voice - then to my astonishment, she started to threaten to notify police and said I would never enter Japan due to visa issue as they got photocopy of my passport. Stupid as it is, I STILL paid the late checkout charge with the help of another friendly staff (she is kind all the way to sort things out and appease my anger, think her name is Colzani San - a young woman with a western look), I ignored what the aged woman said. What is more stunning, that 鈴木 woman still kept hold a phone and murmured she followed rules and threatened to call the cop. This is more than AWFUL!
