This is a dump considering it is adjacent to the convention center. Room was large but that is about its only positive element. Reception staff was spotty. They refused to help arrange for transport from the train station to the hotel even though we were paying for it. This was an ordeal to say the least. They have no concierge. They offered £20 vouchers for meals for value of £25 in food. We got 2 vouchers expecting a value of £ 50. They are disingenuous and dishonest. On checking out , our dinner cost £46 so the vouchers could not be used since now the required a minimum of £ 50. Stay away from this property We got 2

Just a lovely hotel to stay in , the bedrooms are bright and modern and are equipped with everything you need , Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice Staff are helpful It’s in a great position for the exhibition centre with a short walk into town

Twin room that isn’t a twin room
I’d booked a twin room but when we arrived the beds would only move about 3 inches apart. Reception said don’t worry, the bedside tables move, we’ll send someone up. I could see that they wouldn’t but, OK, let’s see and reception kept saying it is a twin room. Anyway, turns out that the tables didn’t so they moved us an another room where they did. Hopefully they have now notes the original room as NOT being a twin so that people don’t have to spend their first half an hour waiting around to unpack.
