Our experience was far from favourable in respect of the room, food and service.
Room- cobwebs, suspicious 'hair' on bathroom floor. Extractor fan not working, plaster, caused by damp, flaking on wall behind curtain.
Tie, obviously left by former occupant, found behind chair.
Bedding clean, bed comfortable
Food- waited 55 minutes for starter due to mistake by staff. All 4 main meals had issues. Bread had been cut like doorstops, confusion on gluten free requests which left my daughter somewhat anxious. No cocktails, no mocktails and they ran out of sauvignion blanc!
Breakfast was fine!
Service- evening staff seemed to lack experience and skills. Excuses were made for the poor service, we werent checked on during the meal and we had to go and find them to ask why we had been waiting almost an hour for our starters.
Despite giving a credit card as 'guarantee ' on arrival, bar staff would not accept it so we had to pay by debit card 'as we went along'. No mocktail or cocktail menu available.

Did put in a formal complaint to duty manager who is passing it on to general manager.
