I came in expecting a much better experience after previously staying in more budget hotels. While the hotel itself was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful, it just didn’t live up to expectations. The central location was great, but the breakfast was underwhelming, and the dining area felt far too hot, crowded, and noisy to enjoy. To top it off, I was woken in the middle of the night by reception because someone, clearly drunk and at the wrong door, claimed they were trying to get into my room. It was frustrating and really disrupted my stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful right from the start. The room, which was an accessible one had plenty of room and a great wet-room bathroom, all of which were spotless. The only negative there was, was one of the lifts wasn't working. Not the hotel's fault but apparently the engineers were having trouble fixing it. As it was a busy weekend with a concert in town, you had to wait ages for one which was a bit of a painthough so no complaints!
