Room itself was nice, location was central, breakfast was fine. However the one thing you want from a hotel stay is a decent night's sleep. In our room on the 8th floor we could hear the lifts going up and down constantly, the noise was ridiculous. It sounded much like planes going overhead. I barely slept, once I did finally drop off after 2am, I was woken just before 5am by the lifts again. The room service left much to be desired. We got back to the hotel shortly after 10pm after seeing a show and we need something light to eat. The sandwiches although advertised as available 24hrs a day were not available, and it was also £6 for any room service to be brought to your room which was extortionate. Would not reccomend a stay here on that basis
My wife and I thought that the hotel was fjrst class.
We did not know what to expect but we were not disappointed. The hotel was very clean - both the public areas and our room. Very clean, modern and comfortable.
We did not eat dinner in the restaurant but we had breakfast. The Chef prepared omelette was delicious and the choice was extensive. Overall a great stay and we will certainly return.
Food expensive for what it was and served with no accompiaments, service at the restaurant very poor - food left on the side waiting to be served despite the chef calling for service several times. it was not exceptionally busy.
I would expect better for a hotel of this standard.
A lot of people weee complaining to wait for the lifts for such along time.
Lovely place to stay, hotel was clean and the facilities were really good. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It’s in a great area, within walking distance to the Utilita atena where the event we were attending was held, as well as loads of other places, shops, sea life centre, restaurants etc. would recommend.
Everything has been excellent so far, apart from the journey to the hotel. With the streets being rerouted due to the team system, etc. our sat nav could not find the correct way of getting to the hotel! We were forced around the area and eventually dump the car in a side street and walked!
