The location of the hotel is brilliant. It also had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. I will say I was disappointed that even though I had booked an upgrade from cosy to classic I was clearly put in a cosy and then when went to discuss with reception was given another… cosy room. The pictures looked nothing like the room I booked which I even showed to the reception. This to me wasn’t great. The hotel is nice, it’s clearly getting some rooms upgraded but some have a slight ‘faded’ feel. But good for a night and as I said, I slept really really well in that bed.

Poor condition of room and facilities.

Car park is very tight for modern cars. Room condition very poor. Water stains on the walls nowhere near the bathroom. Edging of bathroom cabinets coming off. Shower head not attached properly to the wall. Half of TV channels not available.

Staff were really helpful and the hotel is ideal for visiting Bristol. Parking is easy at the Multi Storey next door, with access directly from the hotel. They also offer discount parking. Would definitely use this hotel again if visiting Bristol

Great location. Old building…

Location is great. Staff are great. It is less ideal because it doesn’t have AC - there are windows. But it’s not the same. The bathrooms have the dumb half glass. Rooms are certainly on the small side (standard). It’s a fine spot. But it’s not a great spot.

Nice big room. Although, given the price, very little extras (e.g. toiletries). Room was noisy due to loud music until 2am from downstairs & bathroom fan on constantly, meaning o poor nights sleep. Good location & parking right next door (although not cheap, even with hotel discount).

Staff were friendly and resolved items that were missing from my room. The room itself was fine however areas of improvement: wardrobe had chipped area which should be fixed, room needs more plugs in the bedroom area as there were no plugs near the mirror in the wardrobe which means difficult to do hair. Instructions in the room on how to use the coffee machine.

Poor breakfast

Room was clean as was bathroom although a little tight between bath and toilet. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Wifi had good coverage Only drawback was breakfast . Food warm and had run out of eggs and although told would cook fresh and bring to table this didnt happen and had to waste a perfectly good plate of food as by time realised no one was bringing eggs it was stone cold and to replace. Restaurant has a great view of river.

Really like our stay. Everything was clean, nice and quite luxurious. The front desk was accommodating and friendly. We thought the room was nice but a little on the small size. No room for any kind of luggage. Loved the bathroom. One problem that the hotel can’t be held responsible for was the very noisy crowd going by our room until after 2 am. It seemed like a younger crowd coming or going across the river. Kept us up. Loved the city.
