This is a great value for money place to stay. I was playing golf on site so it was perfect for. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast of a good standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative is the property itself is very tired looking and needs a refurb.

The hotel has potential...
The hotel has potential but the standard double rooms are in desperate need of updating and renovation, they are very dated. The shower wasn't great, I recently stayed in a basic Travelodge in Redhill and the shower was much better there! This hotel has potential and with some money spent on it to bring the rooms up to date and a freshen up of the hotel in general it could be a lovely place and there is a real lack of hotels in this area so there are no other options available... The rooms and the hotel were very stuffy, the heating was on full blast!

Lovely and quiet.
Lovely old building, nice creaking stairs. Comfortable and clean, also nice and quiet. The only downside was no ev charging available. Now realised should have phoned to check as this did spoil my experience.

The hotel is dated but was a very comfortable option in the area for our overnight stay. Small things such as corner light not working {probably needed a new bulb} and tv in other family members room was hopeless..could just about get BBC1. We were only staying overnight though and didn't eat there, but staff kindly allowed us to help ourselves to extra tea and coffee in the breakfast area. Beds were comfortable and bedding and towels all very clean. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer provided - all very useful after travelling.

Excellent customer service.
I arrived early after a long drive. I had a lot of luggage because I was going to a wedding and then traveling on to a 3 week long trip. The lady in reception was so helpful. She helped me unload my car, found a wheeled coat rail and helped me get my luggage up to my room. She also arranged for my room to be cleaned next so I could check in. Excellent customer service. My room was a little dated but clean and spacious. Nice view of the golf course. The bar and lounge area is lively. Staff are very friendly. The food was nice (tofu katsu curry). Prices are reasonable for a hotel.

Breakfast need much upgradng. Lots of ELBOW GREASE required on lots of places about round about the intererior of the hotel - brass , entrance, lift etc
