Always enjoy a family winter seaside break at the Leonardo Royal Waterfront. Good price (sharing a family room), great buffet breakfast and nice little pool and gym.

We had a good stay at Leonardo Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable with a king-size bed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, and dinner food was also good. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, steam, and sauna, although the steam and sauna areas are quite small. The main downside was the very poor Wi-Fi, which was too slow for streaming or uploading, especially for the kids’ iPads. We also experienced an issue with the toilet flush not working . Overall, a pleasant stay, but improvements to Wi-Fi and maintenance would make it even better.

Great hotel to stay in with kids. The room was spacious and clean. We used the pool twice. Breakfast was great, a lot of variety and good quality food. More gluten free and dairy free options would be good for those with intolerances though there were milk alternatives and plenty of cooked food options. We got parked in The Lanes car park ok even though it was full when we arrived. It is heavily discounted when staying in the hotel and easily paid for at reception upon check-out. The location is great, right on the seafront and just a couple of minutes away from lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

When checking in we were told they did not know of any hotels.com reward scheme, and we could not receive any benefits from the VIP gold as result. Parking was 29 a night with discount not the 22 advertised. Pool is significantly smaller than it looks in the photos and was often overcrowded. Someone in the room above us was vomiting the entire night and the noise kept our entire family awake for hours.
