Quiet excellence

Always amazed that the hotel is at the end of the runway but it’s totally quiet. Bathrooms are wonderful - could stay in that shower all day. Breakfast is extensive and top quality - whatever you want is available. I always stay at this hotel when I have a morning flight out of Heathrow

Very relaxing hotel, with stylish, cool atrium. Food was excellent, as were all the staff. Definitely not your average airport hotel. Only complaint was the room was way too hot and the a/c very poor, Easy walk to T4; within 10mins you can be on the Elizabeth Line. Warning though; we stayed here then transferred to T3 via the train. There is a lot of walking involved. Not a problem for us, but if you’re not prepared to do 5000 steps to get to T3 check-in then sort yourself a taxi from the (very helpful) front desk! Recommended, will stay again.

noisy room and pool has gone

Haven't stayed here since before covid as have been flying from T5. First thing we saw was a primitive Grab and Go. It's sold on an honesty system with a card machine in the room. Pricing was expensive and rounded up - £2, £3 or £5. Rooms were as we remembered except the mini bar has been abandoned as have hot chocolate/cocoa and biscuits. We were in 371 (I think) right on the corner by the corridor. We heard people walking by most of the night and early morning. Will remember next time to request a room away from the walkway. We went to the Hilton as Sofitel was unbelieveably expensive and Hilton was much cheaper but also because it has a pool. Should say HAD. They have built conference space where the pool was. We ate in the bar. Excellent service but food was very carb-heavy. Starbucks also went with covid. We walked into T4 even though flying from T5 and its quite poor in terms of shops and facilities compared to T5 and the walkway is long and cold.

Check in & out was fast & efficient. Staff at the OXBO provided exceptional service. Upon greeting at breakfast, host asked if I had food allergies. He then proceeded to walk around all of the buffet items pointing out which ones contained pork in any form. The staff at both restaurants were very attentive, friendly & respectful. Food was fresh and yummy!!!

Good service, old hotel

The service and personell where friendly and helpfull. However, the air conditioning didnt work at all. The room was warm throughout the night and it smelled like fumes were coming out of the vents. The hotel is definitely showing it´s age.
