The room was clean and tidy but weird light set up. No big light just a mirror and two side lights which was odd. Bed was comfy you could here the traffic and city noise but thats what you get for right in city centre. The overall vide was oppulence and love the original lift doors.

Better than expected, the room was well appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with 3 choices of pillows. Unfortunately the mini fridge didn't work in my room, but that wasn't a major issue. I ate dinner in the Grand Pacific restaurant, the food was good but it's quite a loud environment on a Saturday evening. The staff were also (literally) running around the place at times which didn't give me the impression that things are well organised, or that there are enough staff to handle the workload. Whilst perhaps a tad overpriced for what it is I'd be happy to stay here again, it's a good hotel in a convenient location.

We had a really nice stay at the Queens. The room was nice and clean. The only downside to the stay was We couldn’t get served at the bar. This was due to people ordering cocktails and the queue was too busy We tried to get a drink on three different occasions without success, which spoilt the experience somewhat.
