The staff members were rather rude and not welcoming. This property was ranked a 7. I would give it a 2 at best. I did not feel safe in the area. Nobody acted nice. 2 towels only, basically no blankets, and the bed felt like a camping mattress. I would never recommend them or stay in an IBIS again
The hotel location is a bit sketchy and the room was not clean, the hotel is old. There looked like someone had splattered blood on the floor and the linen on bed had a footprint on it. We checked in and immediately checked out and found a more suitable accomadations.
Hotel room was nice and clean, decent size room for me and my child. I requested a travel cot and I was told it would be in the room on arrival but it wasn't there so housekeeping bought one up they didn't know how to set it up which I had to do. The travel cot was stained and there was no way I was letting my child sleep in that so he slept in bed with me. There was daily housekeeping which provided fresh and clean towels for me. On the second night about 2am a guest knocked on my door and other people's door which I rang reception about it and he cut me off so in the morning I told the receptionist about it and they said they'll check the cameras but they couldn't see anything and said it may be a drunk guest which maybe the case but it should be taking seriously. I would stay there again but I'll be bringing my own travel cot for my child.
Fairly easy transport links. Stayed in ibis hotels before and they’ve all been basic but clean but this was dirty. Had hair on the bed and floors were sticky especially in the bathroom. We were way too exhausted to complain as I usually would have so just dealt with it on this occasion.
The area felt unsafe even during the day for my daughter (14) and I. We were lured at from men and even felt we were being followed at one point walking back from tube station of an evening.
Somewhere to get your head down if desperate but would not book again.
The room was surprisingly larger than expected and had a little desk and chair which was nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and the beds were comfortable
Spent the one night there as had work done to my property. It's fine for a night. No thrills. Don't expect anything extraordinary. It was clean, the bed was ok. TV worked. Wouldn't pay 9 quid for breakfast though. Small area and gets very busy. Ideal for tourists wanting to get into London, but don't want to pay london prices. Good transport links. Shame there were no sockets by the bed.
