Disappointing Stay at NovoHotel Canary Wharf
Our experience at NovoHotel Canary Wharf was deeply unsatisfactory. We faced significant issues during our pre-show dinner and upon our return.
Restaurant Service Failures:
• Extremely slow service despite communicating our time constraints
• 20-minute delay in one meal’s delivery
• Inability to pay due to absent wait staff
• Forced to leave without settling bill to attend our show
Unacceptable Night Return:
• Locked out of our room upon late-night return
• Publicly accused of not paying our bill by reception staff
• Staff attempted to justify their actions instead of apologizing
The hotel’s failure to provide timely service, communicate effectively between departments, and handle the situation professionally is unacceptable.
They could have left a VM or Note instead!
Second time staying here. The room was lovely. A few small issues that affected the scoring. First of all, the tv mirroring does not work, had issues connecting a fire stick to the WiFi as well. The in room tv lost signal as well Did not matter as was only staying the one night but was disappointing for such a nice hotel.
Main issue was the random staff member coming into our room 10 minutes after checking in and asking if the room needed cleaning. Did not seem like they wanted to leave the room at all. Finally left after 3-4 minutes. Seriously unprofessional.
Such a shame as most of the staff were lovely and the hotel itself is stunning. Will think twice about staying here again in the future.
This was a lovely experience!, seamless check in and friendly staff. Excellent value for a Suite in Canary Wharf and the view was breathtaking! I plan on returning.
The property was great. It was clean and fresh and our room was remade every morning. The people at reception were very friendly. I would recommend this property highly.
Nice hotel, good service, high floor. £20 for a room.service pizza was a bit steep and had to pay by card as opposed to put it on the room which felt sketchy
