We use the hotel because the proximity to the hospital. It can be very noisy from the reception/ communal gathering areas which is not pleasant particularly in the circumstances. It is very utilitarian in presentation and not anywhere you would choose to go for pleasure. Staff are not incompetent but not particularly friendly or quick.

One off poor standards
I had some cleanliness issues, the manager has responded quickly and dealing with them. I like this hotel and have stayed many times so this was a shame on this occasion.

It was fine for what I needed it for. An overnight stay to see my daughter. Literally next door to hospital but I didn’t need that. Too far from underground station for me. Two reception staff I encountered were not very friendly but were efficient.
