This hotel could be a little gold mine! In the heart of Maida Vale and near some nice restaurants and the tube etc. You can be in the West End in 15 minutes It is a such a shame it is so run down and needs so much work. Our room was ok but not very clean and poorly equipped. There was a kitchen but nothing in there to make it functional, not enough cups or glasses, cutlery etc. The bed and towels were clean and beds comfy, but the whole place needs a refurb, the shower was mouldy and the walls and carpets marked. Most annoying was that the curtains didn't fit the windows!
There is no public area to the hotel - no bar or restaurant or even a toilet available so don't plan to do anything but sleep there. The hotel is quite a noisy building - we could hear other toilets being flushed, the lift and people talking. Staff were pleasant and parking is secure, if not on the expensive side for this part of London. If you managed to pay about £40- 50 per night for a room it would be a fair price, I have stayed in better Premier Inns and Travelodges.
