Efficient check in, room was clean and tidy. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on, double bed was ok although the room was very hot (mid Sept). Air con “on” but made no difference. Breakfast was chaotic and too busy, had to queue for a table. Decent breakfast although no tea bags or sugar left. Again very hot in there.

Ideally located for the AO Arena which was the main purpose for our trip. Close main shops and the NQ has some great bars and restaurants. Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable and staff most welcoming and helpful.

Good location for wandering and walking. Staff helpful and friendly. Walkable to center of city and to train if not carrying much luggage. Nice breakfast and neat eating area across the street with many different types of food.

The most awkward hotel check in I’ve had to endure. The desk manager wanted a physical payment card from me even though we had paid for the room in full online. The poor girl who was working with him was embarrassed. He demanded a physical card saying that it needed to match up for some system. He spoke to someone senior and they ‘put dummy card details in’ and sent us on our way. Ridiculous.
