No frills hotel which was clean and the staff were friendly. Great value for money for a quick stop over. The bar staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was basic but l didn’t expect anything else for the price point so it was good value for what it was.

Motel One is in a great location, close to train station, tram lines and a short walk to shops and restaurants. It was clean and the staff were pleasant. The only negative things i would comment on is the bar is massively overpriced - £4 for a bottle of water and nearly £5 for a 330ml bottle of beer. Our shower head was also loose and didnt stay in place so had to hold it in place while showering.

Great location next to the train station. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The only thing that dipped my score was the room clean in the middle of my stay. I'm not sure if i received fresh towels after leaving one on the floor

Good, convenient choice in Central Manchester
A good, basic place to stay near Manchester Piccadilly. The rooms are very reasonably priced and a highlight is the buffet (continental - no cooked offerings apart from boiled eggs) breakfast: there is plenty of choice. The only thing I found surprising - and I see other reviewers found the same - is that despite the hotel's "green" aspirations, cardboard mugs are provided for tea/coffee in the room and the "Philly" cheese at breakfast came in single-portions packed in plastic. Strange!
