Overall great! Staff are lovely and welcoming/ helpful. Room clean and bed comfy. Unfortunately, when accessing the spa there was around 4 men in there and would be in sauna/ steam room for long periods and would talk/ shout which made this unrelaxing. However once they left luckily we had extra time and got to use all the facilities. Overall great and would return

Most recent of lots of stays. Disappointed is the word I would use. Booked day of arrival. Arrived to be told "because you booked late you have to have a disabled accessible room unless you want to upgrade" Platinum member on HDC so surely should have been upgraded. That's never happened anywhere so pretty sure it's a scam. Bar service and drinks awesome as ever. Can't fault them. Woke to my cad being charged hundreds of pounds (already paid for room). Tooka while to sort at front desk, all refunded but it's not what you expect at the prices they charge. Room cold. HVAC did t appear to work. Got to bed late so wasn't going to call desk or ask to change room. Again, not what I expect. Shower was so low I had to stoop to get under it. Should have gone for the upgrade. Overall could do better and they do.

Disappointed

Arrived for a 1 night stay for my birthday after the hotel was highly recommended by other family members. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The room allocated to us had noise from the tram line that woke us at 5.30am. Service extremely slow and staff unhelpful. We were attempting to book a place in the spa as this was one of the main reasons for our visit. However phone was unanswered asked at reception how else to book to be told can only call so continued to try to eventually getting an answer the following morning and being advised nothing available. Left very disappointed as we definitely didn’t experience the wow factor expected. Hotel is beautiful however our stay was anything but.

Very nice but with some room for improvement

It’s a very nice hotel but a few things take the edge off what it could be. Service is slow, expect to be left waiting for check in and breakfast at peak times for upto 30 mins. The room was mostly very nice and big, we did have a temporary air con unit with a pipe going out of the window which was too noisy for night so feels like some work is needed in places. In summary it’s a nice hotel and quite a building but in places it could do with some work
