Lovely hotel,easy check-in, large rooms only issue was it was too warm in bedroom no windows and when we asked for radiators to be turned off we were told they couldn't so fetched ice water and a fan but no plug sockets near bed so that was really a waste of time, so didn't have a good nights sleep.

Everything was as good as you would expect, except the late check out/ I tried to book and pay online, when it came to the last day they said it was not available. On the positive they were very good at looking after a case I needed collecting.
Hotel was lovely and central to city centre which we wanted, room was fabulous and clean,
Breakfast a bit over priced was the only negative.
Definitely stay again 😁
The room we had was a great size and very comfortable and fantastic location. Whilst our room was serviced each day we were annoyed that we had to call room service for fresh towels each day (even though we left dirty towels in bath as required)
Confident old railway hotel. Faded grandeur, though the single room was a touch on the Spartan side, and there were a lot of stairs unreachable by lift. Great breakfast room.
The hotel was clean but a little run down. There were no plugs at the side of the bed or above the dressing table we had to put the kettle on the floor to boil it which is a health and safety issue.
The shower hose was leaking so more water came out the bottom than the top. We also only had one small towel each and a hand towel we did ask for another towel but didn’t receive any.
The staff were lovely and the central location was ideal for getting around but I probably wouldn't stay again.
