The staff were really really helpful and friendly both at check in and in the restaurant. The room was clean and contained everything you could need, however the bed was like a trampoline. Also at 12.30 in the morning there was terrible banging and thumping for nearly half an hour which woke us up and kept us awake. I think it was from a nearby room where they were thumping on the door. Also some of the other guests were not well mannered. While I appreciate that this is beyond the hotel’s jurisdiction it did detract from the quality of the stay.

Great value for money. Location is excellent if you have a car (free parking). Helpful staff, spacious, spotless rooms and a cracking breakfast (included).

Very convenient for an early appointment at the Nuffield Hospital. Clean, comfortable. Restaurant & bar onsite which was very useful and meant we didn’t need to go and search for an evening meal having travelled a long way.

The hotel was dated not modern hotel check in staff come across rude when trying to make general conversation it’s not nice having a NHS in the hotel makes it feel very cheap and not secure

We arrived very late after a never ending journey and was greeted by a warm, polite and efficient man behind the desk. The room was one of the largest and best equipped rooms we have ever stayed in, which was unexpected considering the price. The location may not be the most glamorous however if you are looking to explore it is brilliantly positioned within easy access to the A38 yet really quiet. We were really impressed and we definitely be back again.

Hotel is situated near a couple of business parks so have some local shops which is fine, plenty of parking. Staff were amazing and incredibly accomodating. Breakfast fantastic for the price. Ive just never had such a bad sleep in my life. The beds were awful and being there for 4 nights, i was ruined.
