Lovely weekend stay
Great location and a very spacious room, which was clean and well equipped. Perhaps in need of a little modernisation but was very comfortable. Great bed and shower. Check in took a little while but was friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good with a good selection of food. Very busy on Sunday morning but quiet on Monday morning. The hostess Janet was excellent and remained calm during the rush, despite the queue of guests waiting for a table. Would definitely return.

Friendly and attentive staff..
Great Location, Bus stops and tram stops outside the hotel. Great selection for breakfast ( and its all you can eat buffet)., Breakfast includes.... Fried eggs, Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, tomatoes (not tinned), beans and mushrooms. Also toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and a selection of fruit juices as well as freshly made pastries and various cereals, Not forgetting Tea & Coffee..

Faded Grandeur, but nice nostalgic hotel. Right on sea frint, beautiful old building. Huge hotel in decent condition. Cheap as well. I’d comeback. In fact this was my second visit.

The property and room was dirty , bathroom had tiles hanging off the wall and the water come out hot in both taps and couldn’t even use the shower or bath the water was that hot and the sealant round the back was none existent . Disgusted with my stage and the staff wasn’t helpful at all. Loud music alll night and heating wouldn’t even work

Worth staying if only for the food
Beautiful old building, well kept with stunning features. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with everything you need. Food......was amazing we had the 3 course 'posh' menu and it was gorgeous and the breakfast was outstanding.

The staff are a credit to the hotel, it was reading previous reviews about them which was the deciding factor for us in staying at this hotel, i can honestly say everybody was lovely. beds were nicely comfortable. Breakfast had plently of choices. Trams outside the front door. We would happily stay here again when we visit in the summer.

Enjoyable visit
Only a one-night visit but nice hotel. Staff service was excellent throughout and very good breakfast in the morning. Would certainly return on a future visit to Blackpool.
