Cozy and quaint
Friendly staff, spacious and immaculately clean rooms. Large bathroom with towel warmer, ample space to store clothes and personal items. Light, airy rooms with a beautiful view of Peaacod street. Comfortable beds, desk, sitting area, and a nook for snacks and tea. Loved it here and would happily return! Bear in mind, this is a self-service hotel with three floors and no elevator. That didn't affect me, but is important to know.

We stayed here just for the daytime hours on a long layover in London. Check in at 1pm made it convenient to book as a day hotel and shower and rest before our next flight. Windsor is an awesome little area to enjoy some shops and have lunch before heading for our flight. Loved our stay at Goswell house.

Immaculate, comfortable rooms, great location
What a find! Tucked away off a pedestrianised high street, Goswell House is in the center of Old Windsor. Minutes from the castle, shopping and restaurants. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. A perfect place to stay with easy reach to Heathrow to catch a flight.

The room was lovely. Fantastic location. Staff didn’t arrive for checkin - waited inside the building as a PIN code for entry had been provided via email. After waiting 25 minutes (some other folks were also waiting) the housekeeping staff member provided the room keys.

The location simply cannot be beat, just a block and a half from the train station, and two blocks from the castle. The establishment is run more like a B&B, but it is the size of a true hotel. Check-in was done by the housekeeping staff, as there is no front desk and the person greeting us helped us with out heavy luggage as there is no lift. Other than that, you would never know that you are not in a typical hotel. We booked two large rooms that were both very large with modern bathrooms and air conditioning that worked very well. An excellent option for the price.

Windsor was wonderful to visit. Goswell House was really great as the bedrooms had everything we needed and was clean with plenty of room. Literally a 5 minute walk to the Windsor Castle. We will stay again next visit.
