A super greeting and easy booking in system. A great vibe was around the hotel. In walking distance to all of Yorks attractions and nightlife. Breakfast had a great selection and variety, which ensured you were fuelled for any walking. Small gym room but held enough for a work out.

Nice hotel, great breakfast, good service. However, no fridge in room, and shower drain didn’t work / was blocked so bathroom flooded every time you took a shower.

Fabulous hotel. The staff make you feel so welcome and are a real credit to the hotel. The atmosphere is really relaxed, you feel like you want to hang out there. Bar food was fabulous and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Best value modern hotel
The Moxy chain offer the best overall value hotel in the UK. Prices are reasonable, facilities are modern, staff are always helpful. Rooms have everything you need. I can't think of anythign not to like.

Great location
Great location and staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfy and the sensor light under the bed was great idea when going to the loo in the dark. Bathroom compact but clean and modern with shampoo/shower gel. Only downside was lack of storage/shelves etc but ok if only visiting for a night or 2. Would definitely book again.
