Reception manger absolute lack of basic customer service skills, not able to deal with issues whatsoever. Family room is dusty and old, sofa bed mattress is slanted, unable to sleep, bathroom door unable to lock, air condition does not work, blocked shower drain! Absolutely mess! Additionally, toothbrush left over called multiple times, they don't even bother to check or call back, after almost a week waiting and callings, Hotel charged £15 for a toothbrush return, Honestly?!

The hotel is in a good location. It is a short 10 walk to the old town. The hotel looks old and might be a little outdated but the room was very nice and quite modern. It was a good size room with a view looking out onto the street. Breakfast was very good! There was a surcharge that I had to pay unfortunately which I didn't like. I don't know why breakfast is hardly included in hotel stays anymore. You pay big bucks of your stay and then if you want breakfast, you have to pay? I don't like that. But anyways, it was very good with so many great options. Hot and cold options available and it was a buffet style. 10/10 for breakfast without a doubt.

The view from the hotel window was lovely looking iver the river. Nice rooms and nice breakfast soread to cater for all. Check out computers didnt work and 1 member of staff for peak time was poor. She was extremely over worked

Reasonable Hotel
Very slow and disorganised check in experience, similar experience on checkout, front desk staff seemed unpleased that we wanted to use the luggage storage facility. Hotel is across a number of different levels and buildings, getting to the room meant an elevator, walk the length of the hotel and then another elevator. Gym room is not well equipped and half way up the street in yet another building. It's ok for what it is and a good location for the centre of York, just not what you'd expect from a Radisson.

Great stay but a little more thought for disablity
Our stay had great service from the staff i was in a wheelchair and they put me in an accessible room shower room was lovely but would have prefered a chair as they are much safer when transitioning from the wheel chair the stool provided didnt feel safe but the staff were really helpful with extra pillows and a fridge for my meds All in all a good stay
