When you enter the hotel the smell is just so fresh! Never experienced that before it’s just lovely!!! Danielle on reception was friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable and the pillows were fab!! Really cannot fault Hotel Indigo I would highly recommend and I would defo purely stay here again.

Property is modern with very effective air conditioning. Beds are comfortable and room clean. Breakfast excellent. Downsides were being told at check-in that we had to pay extra for breakfast as I hadn’t included it in the booking when I did, then telling me they hadn’t taken a swipe of my card when they did, before blaming the confusion on me booking during the Microsoft outage (I had booked days before this)! Also, having to ask a total of three times for an extra pillow and a refill of the hand and body lotion in the bathroom. There seemed to be disconnect between reception staff and housekeeping. The discussion about extra charges necessitated providing proof and involving Expedia (who were brilliant). Unfortunately, this combined with a slow response to simple requests put a damper on the holiday. We considered seeking another hotel at one point as we felt uncomfortable and annoyed about it. For those reasons I wouldn’t stay here again.

First time in Liverpool
Overall had a great time, loved Liverpool! The hotel was nice but not outstanding. Party of 5 and all put on different floors. I made the whole booking together and give names of people in the rooms as requested, so wasn’t happy about that and hotel full so couldn’t move. Rooms not well stocked…tea, coffee, biscuits etc. But overall an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is beautiful. Very clean and modern. The room was immaculate and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was situated perfectly for access to the docks and city centre. Will definitely be staying again.
