Hotel was lovely. It was clean and very quirky. The rooms was big and bathrooms was so good the shower and jet baths was go good. Hotel had a a great restaurant breakfast was lovely and the bar was well stocked goid cocktails at a great price. Its also really in a good location near everything. I'd recommend especially for a group

Hotel in a good location
A warm welcome at Reception; cleaners very polite; extra large room for two of us (with two king size and two single beds); loved the jacuzzi in the bathroom There was only one wardrobe and because there were three high shelves inside the rail was not practical for hanging shirts and dresses. There was a buildup of mould in the gap between the old and new window panels - not appealing if you want to look outside. Breakfast was okay, not a great choice for fruit lovers.

A quirky hotel with exceptionally helpful and frie
The hotel is conveniently located. There is on-street parking and there is a multi-storey carpark very near by at reasonable rates. The only meal available was breakfast which was average. The room was very big, clean and comfortable

The room was overall lovely. However, the up keep of the bathroom was slightly poor due to the flooring all damage and a big hole where there was no flooring. The jets in the bath did not work properly, could not turn them off and one of the covering on one of the jet was broken. The blinds above the bath were all stained from the previous. The sofa chair ripped. However, staff were lovely and very friendly

Great place so central
The bath had been leaking from previous occupants and carpet was still wet but didn’t smell but wasn’t till I took shoes off and went to bathroom that I noticed ran bath (which was amazing jacuzzi bath) and got ready to go out. Came back and the place was soaked, went to receptionist and got extra towels to clean it up,with help. Other than that it was lovely and staff were great friendly, food was plenty and fresh. Would definitely recommend it. But hopefully they get the bathroom sorted.

Had a great stay at The Dixie Dean. Booked a 5 bed large studio room - was very roomy & had lovely bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Breakfast buffet was fine & had everything needed. Lots of restaurants etc walkable distance & felt safe around the area. Would definitely recommend.
