Booked twin as that was all available on site . When arrived asked if that’s what we wanted said would have preferred. Double they gave us a room with double and single . Room was dated suspended ceiling some tiles needed changing. Shower base damaged and shower tubing needs replacing. Cobweb in shower and flickering led bulb in shower itself. Breakfast was delicious. If u didn’t want full English you can get a to go bag. Staff excellent helpful and attentive. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble .
Friendly and welcoming staff, well appointed room, with a modern and clean bathroom, comfortable bed, spacious family room.
If we were to visit the area again we would definitely stay here.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Lovely helpful staff in what I was told is a very busy student area but as we visited during the summer holidays it was
Enjoyable stay apart from no lift (on 2nd floor) and room rather claustrophobic due to the excellent weather.
Tasty breakfast, lovely Italian restaurant adjoining and fabulous Indian Restaurant (The 3 elephants) about a mile along Osborne Road.
Very friendly and helpful staff
I stayed here with my grown up daughter in a twin room on the top floor. The room and ensuite were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and there was a grab bag option which was great too. The hotel is within easy walking distance from Metro stations and is close to a number of good restaurants and bars. Overall really good value and I would stay here again when visiting Newcastle.
Such a warm welcome here! Special mention for Laura and Kiran who we met on arrival and at breakfast - both exceptionally friendly, and gave clear and helpful information. The hotel is spotless and our room felt newly refurbished with very comfortable beds, loads of hot water and fluffy towels. We all had a great night's sleep and breakfast was outstanding. We hope to return next time we're in Newcastle; thankyou to all the staff at Osborne Hotel.
Liked the location of the hotel. Staff were great. Room was very nice, none standard layout. Comfy bed. Good shower.
Room could benefit from a chest of drawers as My wife and I were unable to unpack our bags. Location is good for bars and restaurants. Twenty minute walk to central Newcastle. The location was a bit noisy at night. We would stay at The Osborne Hotel again.
Three friends visiting Newcastle for the day.
Hotel situated in very pleasant area of Newcastle. Within 25 mins walk of city centre.
Receptionist Laura was very friendly and helpful. Parking behind hotel was easy to
access.
Room was adequate for three people with a degree of privacy between double and single beds.
Bed comfortable. Room not too warm despite us closing windows to help keep down the extraneous noise (not too bad but room looked onto main road).
Breakfast choice was excellent. Food was very good . Staff in dining area very friendly and efficient.
My two companions were both offered a breakfast comprising a hot sandwich, fruit and a juice as they were running in the morning and would miss the breakfast times. They both appreciated this.
