Overall a really good stay, room was a decent size along with the bathroom. Would definitely recommend. My only criticism is that the bed was 2 singles joined together however a caster was missing off one the bed causing it to be slightly lower than the other. There are no chargers near the bed which was strange.

The bed was fine but most of the lights had no bulbs .I booked a room with walk in shower but got a bath Parking is impossible with only a few places or pay parking in a dark not very desirable area , No sockets fir IT and very poor coffee option . Hand soap describrd as lux but basic with no slip mat in bath -

A bit wet
Got to hotel issued with rooms 2 double staying with family, got into our room avoiding the bucket on stairs catching the water coming in from ceiling.Made a cup of tea just as tje wife sat on bed to say this pillows wet,which on looking up saw a leak on ceiling in bedroom as well.So went down to reception to tell them, not sure of receptions ladies name but it was no trouble at all soon gave us a deluxe room instead.By looking at hotel and rooms it needs a refit a bit dated.

Reception was nice, but very badly situated. Very limited free parking spaces. Rooms are very dated. Room was only accessible via stairs. Tea & coffee making facilities - spoons were dirty. Lack of toilet roll in room. Stairwell hand rail was sticky and dirty. Breakfast was lovely. But again cutlery was dirty, tea stains on teaspoon. Used packets of sugar left on the table. Bar staff were good. Not enough staff in breakfast restaurant.

The hotel is lovely, with good size rooms and beds, in a quiet location in a very nice village. The bathroom was newly refurbished with excellent water pressure and the heating was working very well. We found the staff very helpful and kind. I cannot comment on the breakfast because we didn't have any breakfast. Excellent value for money.
