Comfortable hotel in a central location
We were in an executive room which comes with complimentary drinks, snacks and we were treated to a free drink voucher each as a welcome. Lewis, who checked us in was fabulous. The room was comfortable and the beds are huge. Breakfast was OK, although we miss the hash brown tots from the buffet - roasted new potatoes is an odd choice for breakfast!

Nice lobby, extremely outdated room.
The exterior of the hotel is nice. The room, on the other hand, is extremely outdated. Paint faded or peeling off, carpet stained, furnitures broke, etc. In short, they need to update the rooms as they did the lobby.

Nice hotel, modern and comfortable
Great Hotel with pleasant and friendly staff. Room was cosy, not huge but big enough for a couple of nights stay. Food was decent. Bit of a walk to car park if you are driving but it's through the park so a pleasant walk if the weather is nice.

Great place to stay in central Southampton
We had a lovely stay - comfy rooms and great breakfast. Our only negative is that the family rooms only had towels and cups for two guests rather than 3. This was quickly remedied by reception but is a basic oversight

Heating didn't work in the room (204j, it was freezing. Reception did provide a plug in heater but it made regulating the temperature impossible. Room service standard was poor, beds weren't made properly. Hotel generally stank of dirty sweaty people. Breakfast choice was OK although the dining room had industrial plug in heaters blowing too. I would not use it again.

Everyone on staff helped with looking up places to see and with WiFi. I am 80 years old and WiFi is still a mystery to me. Cleanliness and consideration is what made my stay with Leonardo Hotel special. When one travels far and is disoriented their welcoming reception made me feel at home.

Pre cruise stay
Excellent place to stay pre cruise. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Very attentive towards my wife as she was walking with crutches. Staff were pleased to assist. Lifts to all floors also a great help. Only downside was that you could sometimes hear voices and tv from adjacent rooms.
