Direct oceanfront, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, sleeps 6, This direct oceanfront unit on the 3rd floor (with elevator) overlooks a large lava tide pool that is frequented by turtles and colorful Hawaiian reef fish. From the lanai watch surfers tackle the blue waves of Banyans Beach, one of Kona’s most popular surfing spots. This condo features an oceanfront living room and master bedroom with unparalleled 180 degree ocean views and access to spectacular Kona sea life and sunsets. Enjoy the brilliant blue skies, green sea turtles, Humpback whales, spinner dolphins and surfers right from your lanai.Gentle ocean breezes keep you cool day and night. Amenities include free in-unit password protected WiFi and Internet access, full-size washer and dryer. Sleeping arrangements include a king-size bed in the oceanfront master bedroom and a queen bed in the second bedroom. The living room sofa sleeps 2. The unit sleeps four persons privately (two in the master bedroom and two in the second bedroom) or six if you use the sofa. The master bedroom has it's own bathroom and the second bathroom is adjacent to the guest bedroom.

Family vacation

Condo had everything we needed. Was just as described in listing. Views were the best part. The pool and spa on site were very nice and looked to have been recently updated. Only thing that would make it better was if it had AC. But there was plenty of fans so we got along fine.

We wanted someplace very nice to celebrate a once in a lifetime family get together and birthdays. We went online looking for a special place where we could all celebrate and be together and that was on the ocean. It was even more beautiful then it was advertised. Everything was clean, neat, well taken care and was in a very nice area with an ocean view. It was everything that it was advertised and more. We had four other condos in the next unit. We had 16 family members in all and it was a wonderful time together and full of special memories for all of us.

Family vacation

Just returned from a great week in Hawaii! The condo was clean and well stocked. We loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the fabulous ocean view! Plenty of fans provided which was very much appreciated. It took us a couple days to adjust to the humidity, but the fans along with the ocean breeze helped us to stay cool. Thanks for sharing your place with us, we had a great time!

Wonderful!

This listing is wonderful! Amazing views, nice trade winds to cool the condo, all beach necessities available including a cooler and an umbrella, as well as basic utensils in the kitchen. Gas grill on site. We will definitely be staying here next time in Kona. Just a note for future renters: there is no A.C., but there were fans everywhere and the trade winds coming off the ocean thru the condo kept us pretty comfortable.

My families stay at Ed and Karen’s condo in Kona, Hawaii was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with stunning ocean views and the soothing sounds of the waves crashing against the shore. The condo itself was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean, providing all the comforts of home and then some. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare delicious meals with ease. The living area was spacious and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. One of the highlights of the condo was the lanai, where I spent many peaceful mornings sipping coffee and watching the sunrise over the water. It was also the ideal spot for enjoying evening cocktails as the sun dipped below the horizon. The location couldn’t have been better – just a short drive from downtown Kona and conveniently close to some of the island’s best beaches and attractions. But what truly made this stay memorable was the hospitality of Ed and Karen. They were gracious hosts, providing helpful tips on local activities and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. I would highly recommend Ed and Karen’s condo to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in Kona. I can’t wait to return! Enjoyed our stay at this accommodation; good location away from crowds but close enough to good beaches and attractions, comfortable place with everything we needed for the stay, views were outstanding from lanai (especially sunsets). The condo complex is a little run down and could use a face lift, painting, etc.

Beautiful location

We stayed for five nights and had a great time. The view off the balcony is absolutely amazing. Every night we had a beautiful sunset. The condo is very homey and welcoming. We felt right at home. If we return to Kona we will definitely want to stay here again.

Friends getaway!

Beautiful ocean views. Was able to see whales occasionally from the lanai. Seen countless marine life including turtles in tidal pools in front of the condo building. Nicely equipped condo including the kitchen. Managers were great to deal with. Would stay again.

We had an absolutely great stay at this condo. It's hard to imagine how it could have been better - from the well-stocked kitchen, available beach equipment, comfy bed, expansive lanai, glorious views... Just fantastic. Highly recommend this condo. Looking forward to returning as soon as we can.

Amazing location, fantastic accommodation

We loved being right on the water, from waking up and watching surfers to watching the sun set from the balcony, this had everything we were looking for. And inside the unit was well appointed, from kitchen supplies to beach chairs and everything in between we didn’t once say “ this place needs” or “they could use”… Ed and Karen thought of everything. The only minor hiccup was figuring out the parking garage on arrival, but they were very responsive to our questions. So glad we chose to stay here.

Great location and value!

The condo is in a great location in Kona for an easy drive south and to the shops. The lanai is awesome! It's a great place to sit with coffee in the morning to watch the surfers and whales, and with win to watch the sunset. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable; the kitchen is well stocked. Karen and Ed were fantastic, including allowing us to stay extra time to ride out a storm. We would stay again! Thanks for everything!

Can’t beat the sound of the ocean!

Great condo; we essentially lived on the lanai; the pics are true. 3 sets of grills so we never needed to wait. Had everything we needed and was stocked with a few extras too. We had a great time.
