Incredibly poor
The only positive about the hotel is the location. Perfect for Liverpool or Manchester. Room was like a sauna and window didn't open. Shower was difficult to get water temperature correct. Breakfast was a total lottery for quality, had same breakfast 3 times and every time it was different with different parts of it well below the standard I would expect for £16. Service was also poor depending on the which member of staff working. Room housekeeping was also well below the standard expected, bin not emptied and bathroom toiletries not replaced when empty

It’s a beautiful old hall but it just doesn’t look well kept. The carpets are filthy in the corridors and it just doesn’t feel loved or looked after. Some of the staff treated us as if we were in trouble and it had a nasty atmosphere because of it. We wernt the only ones that thought it either. I would not want to go back sadly.

A lovely hotel on the outskirts of Liverpool. While looking a little dated, it was a lovely stay with comfortable bed, friendly staff, and scenic grounds. Staff member Matthew was exceptionally helpful with our trip :)
