The parking lot was an issue as the machine didn't provide a ticket for checking out. I walked to the front door and the ground was disgusting with gum and dirt at the entrance. The front desk attendant Tina was arguing with a maintenance man when I walked in. She was unprofessional, didn't explain anything about the facilities. I asked her about parking and all she said was that she would handle it, then a couple minutes later asked me if I was parking. Poor customer service. When I paid the $75 amenity fee, she never explained that $20 was for parking. I didn't find that out until I received a text about my room from the property and I had to ask again about parking. The bathroom was dirty, specifically the tub had rust and dirt, the counter wasn't wiped down and even the picture hanging above the toilet had dried splatter marks on it. The wooden cabinet shelving had chips and the bed was uncomfortable. Luckily I was only staying here for 8 hours before I had to get on the road. I wouldn't stay here again.

Booked king excutive suite, which we paid more for than a king room. Got to hotel and were informed they didnt have any king rooms. They were going to give us a room with 2 double beds. After some discussion we ended up getting the room we booked. Got to the room and it was clean but very outdated. One of the dresser doors would not stay shut. The cabinet the fridge was in had to be pulled at the top to get the door to close, and there was paint peeling on the ceiling. Definitely not worth the 180.00 sonething a night i was charged. Wish i hadn't used my expedia points to offset the cost down to 141.00. Would not stay again.

It’s not the room…
I need to start by saying the hotel staff we spoke with and who served us were amazing. The rooms on the other hand were not. Paying $200+ per night is a bit a of a reach. I’ve stayed at airbnbs cleaner than this for less money. Our first room there was trash left in the drawers. The curtains didn’t fully shut due to being broken. Our second room they gave us smelled clean but we found someone else’s crocks under the bed and the bathroom was not cleaned. I saw someone painting the hallways and immediately thought they should be doing these touch ups in the rooms. My photos show the trash of the first room we were in and the second room upon arrival. I’m very disappointed. The pool door was also not working properly and it was too cold to enjoy. This was one of the reasons we chose this hotel with a pool. After the room change I realized it’s just the standard of this hotel. The entrance makes it seem very glamorous which is quite deceiving. We will not be staying here again.

While it was convenient that the property is right downtown with parking attached, this room was much less than I expected, having higher expectations for Hiltons. The staff were very polite and helpful, but our room was damp, the toilet was constantly running, some of the toiletries in the shower had fallen off the wall, the floors were NOT cleaned, AND there was a big hole in the closet door. I have worked in high-end hotels for the past 8 years so I have at least some idea of what it takes to run one, it appears to have significant maintenance and housekeeping apathy issues. I'll likely choose not to book Hiltons in the future.

This was our second stay at the Albany Hilton, not our favorite stay to say the least. Our check-in was fabulous, we were even able to check in a bit early, and the young woman was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately there is a huge lack of luggage carts available. We eventually found one when we were checking in but we were unable to find any for when we checked out forcing us to lug all of our belongings down from the 10th floor. The lack of cleanliness in our room was beyond disappointing, it was disgusting . There was feces behind the toilet handle when we used it. With that being said, I can’t imagine that the toilet had been cleaned by housekeeping as well as several other objects in the rooms. There was barely enough toilet paper, tissues or towels for two guests to stay the one night. Especially because I had to use most the paper products for the cleaning as well as a pack of wet ones that I fortunately had with me. I called the front desk and requested more tissues and toilet paper to be left at our door and nothing was ever brought to us. I was unable to get anyone to pick up at the front desk when I called using the hotel’s room phone. After several attempts I finally switched over and used my cell phone to call and they picked up immediately. With all that being said, we are hesitant to book at this Hilton again for our upcoming trip to Albany.

Slow front desk service, manager would walk away from a lineup at front desk and would not offer assistance. Web site said restaurant served 3 meals per day but actually only provided an expensive breakfast. Couldn’t get out of the parking garage without assistance. No towels at the pool

Hotel was not super cheap however parking and breakfast were not included. Staff were not always the most helpful, for example I left something in a room and they were unable to check for me as there was now new people in the room. No one contacted me after either.
