This extra-spacious two-story town-home-styled condo has no common walls and no one above, with a premiere location at Wailea Ekolu unit 510. Enjoy panoramic ocean views from Makena and Molokini to the West Maui Mountains, from the lanai and from the inside of the unit as well. Two private, secure-coded entrances access the resort's largest floor plan (1489 sf). The upscale beach decor showcases quality furnishings that are a cut above typical vacation rental fare, and high-end, quality beds. The upstairs is dedicated to an immaculate, beautifully maintained and open living area and kitchen, with both bedrooms downstairs.

The location is among the very best on the property: new construction near the golf course clubhouse had zero impact, the views are amazing, and you're a convenient half-block walk to the upscale restaurants, world class shopping, and coffee/ice cream treats at the Shops at Wailea. Close to Wailea Beach and within 3 blocks of all of the Wailea hotel resorts.

The owners have outfitted this luxury condo with everything to make it the ultimate base for your Wailea vacation, including two split-system AC units, and additional AC in all of the bedrooms. A beautifully updated kitchen, with granite and stunning cabinetry, is outfitted to cook and serve your tropical gathering. The living room opens to a spacious ocean view lanai. Wireless internet, upgraded cable, a large wall-mounted, and wine chiller are among the many conveniences.

The Ekolu is one of Wailea's top-rated vacation rental properties and features a beautiful resort-style pool and tennis courts. The property wraps Wailea's famed Old Blue course.

Downstairs, two oversized suites feature high-end, ultra-comfortable beds and luxury linens. One bedroom is equipped with two queen-sized beds, the other with a King. Both bedrooms have TVs, and private entry/exit.

The condo was vey comfortable and spacious with a well stocked kitchen and really nice appliances. The separate air conditioners were great and kept the spaces cool. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were huge. The condo wasn’t as clean as I expected. The carpets could use a cleaning. Amazing panoramic view!

Great condo! Beautiful lanai with ocean view. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and a path along the beach. Very spacious with plenty of room. The pools were so enjoyable as well! The downstairs bedrooms have a strong musty smell and an odor from maybe a carpet deodorizer. Had to open up the slider after being gone for any period of time because it was so strong. One friend even had to switch to the other room because of the smell. Just beware if you are sensitive to smells. Overall, wonderful place to stay!

We are not new to Vrbo rentals and on the whole we would place this at the top of that list. Most times our experience has been there is some overselling of the property and in one case the pond in the back turned out to be a swamp. A real live swamp. This facility was just what they advertised. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, well maintained interior and furnishings. They even went an extra mile and left on light so we could find our way around the unit due to our late expected arrival. We will recommend this unit and these agents to people we know who are headed this way.

Great location and view

Thank you for an awesome 8 days in Maui! This property works great with families, is very spacious and has great views! The property management was very informative and quick to respond with any questions we had.It was also convenient to the shops and beaches! My family of four had a lovely stay in this spacious condo. The view is nice, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the de-humidifiers help a great deal with the dampness in the bedrooms downstairs. There is a market at the bottom of the hill and nice dining options nearby. This was a relatively central base of operations for all our island adventures!

Spent many hours on the lanai watching the whales and taking in the island breezes with beautiful sunsets! Very close to shops, hotels and golf-morning jogs/walks along the Beach Path. The kitchen is very NICE and very well appointed with new appliances. Family room setup is comfortable. Beds were super comfortable. The one negative is the carpeting in bedrooms!! It needs replacing-maybe tile or LVP. If that’s done, this place would be a 5 plus!!

Spacious place for family with a great view!

We had an amazing Christmas to New Year 11 night vacation in this home. It was myself, my husband, our 16 year old daughter, two year-old son, and grandpa. Grandpa and our teenager are used to sharing bedrooms but are normally stuck with twin size beds, so having a queen bed for each of them with a nightstand for each bed was a real treat. Management had great communication leading up to and during our stay. The home was squeaky clean and the views from the Lanais were dreamy. We saw whales every single day and had a perfect view of the fireworks at midnight on NYE. We booked the place for the night before we came in so we could have groceries and toddler supplies delivered and the house decorated for the holidays, which worked out perfectly. The location was excellent and we booked cabanas through resort pass a few times we were there at the resorts just down the street. We hired a local nanny for the time we were there and she was able to walk down to the beach with our toddler in the beach wagon we rented whenever we went on excursions without him. There are spacious closets with hangers and ample drawer space which I usually find lacking in most rentals. The only downside I found to the place was that there was only one small dish that was oven safe, however, there are plenty of pots and pans for the stovetop. We don’t cook much on vacation but it would make it very difficult to use the oven without baking sheets or oven-safe dishware. Overall, an excellent stay.

Wonderful Maui Family Vacation

This property was a great size and location for my family of 4 and 2 grandparents. With two rooms and 3 bathrooms there was plenty of space for everyone. The location is walking distance to the shops of wailea and to a great coffee shop and restaurants at the village of Wailea. We needed to drive to the beaches, but if we didn’t have kids and as much stuff to bring, the beach would be walkable, probably a 15 minute walk. We really enjoyed our trip and would stay at this location again.

Perfect location

Did not disappoint. This location can’t be beat. Close to beaches, shops, and beautiful views. Also had great communication with the rental company when internet was out on a rainy day. Only thing that would have made it even better would be additional silverware, but loved that they get you started with the basics. Thanks for the beautiful stay!

Location, location, location

This was our second stay in this unit. It is comfortable, spacious and has a great sunset view from the lanai. The kitchen and A/C are both recently updated, and everything worked well for us. The unit has everything you need for a week at the beach, including beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. We were completely satisfied! Everything, and I mean everything in South Maui is easily accessed from this unit. Ulua and Wailea Beaches are within walking distance; the Shops of Wailea are even closer. Piilani Highway and S. Kihei road can be reached within 5 minutes. The Wailea Gateway center just up the hill has plenty of good dining. Even the Kihei boat ramp is only 5 minutes away by car. This is a fantastic unit for a family or 2 couples who want a comfortable home base and easy travel to activities!

I was very uncomfortable staying in this unit it’s in need of d ep cleaning and maintenance such as painting , flooring and remove carpets . The vaccine did not work well at all, it was not stocked with kitchen equipment sufficiently and lacked cleaning supplies which I purchased and left behind many useful items to clean and organize kitchen supplies. I would not stay in this unit again . Master bed was comfortable thankfully. The amount that Canadians pay to come to this resort better amenities and services should be offered for the prices.
