the shower is not hot. No slipper. Too many black guys with drugs around, taxi charges me $300 to a railway station. I suspects the taxi driver cheated me.

The hotel was clean and fresh and reasonable for JFK area hotels. Its convenient access to the nearby train station is a big plus. Getting around the Queens area is not traveler friendly.

The room was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, it is in a noisy neighbourhood which could easily heard even when the windows were fully closed.

The property is clean inside - lobby as well as the rooms. There is some graffiti outside as one walks down a bit from the building but not too concerning right now. It would be great to see it cleaned.

Nice hotel
I needed a quick, late night check-in at a nice hotel close to one of the NYC hospitals. The Holiday Inn Express - Jamaica met my needs exceptionally well. I enjoyed a comfortable overnight stay, and was able to return to the hospital early the next morning.

Very convenient location in run-down neighborhood
The hotel is in a very convenient location for transportation connections, but not very good for nearby dining and shopping. The breakfast offerings are barebones, too.
