Liked the lobby decor and hallways, appeared much newer than the room we were in. The suite wasn’t equipped with any cooking utensil or plates etc. we were only here one night but would’ve been a big disappointment if we’d been expecting to cook and eat in our room.

Great hotel and staff
We’ve stayed at the hotel multiple times over the years and it’s always a great experience. Staff is excellent, hotel is comfortable and clean. Short walk from subway and only one subway stop to Citifield.

Have some trouble when using my credit card on payment and wait for a little bit longer. It’s not my problem. We are pretty tired at that moment. If they can let us in first and then take care the issue later that would be great.

This hotel advertises airport shuttle but when I called, it’s only for LaGuardia. Those not familiar with New York have no clue. Hotel nice bit airport shuttle needs to be clarified on Expedia.

Check in was easy. I have stayed at this hotel several times. But the room 1207 was awful. The toilet had to flush at least type for number1. Could not do anything else. The walls very thin.

It had a unique ambience with a spacious room and many amenities. Unfortunately, we were only there for the night as we had an early flight & missed out on the complimentary breakfast. It was nice having hot coffee when checking out & waiting for the shuttle. The only issue we had was that it was a bit noisy outside our window, even though it was nearly midnight.

The staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. We received a free mini bottle of wine. We got upgraded to a suite which was a mixed blessing. The suite was clean had a terrace with a nice view. The terrace did not have any outdoor furniture so we had to use the dinette chairs. It was also in the flight path of La Guardia, the other side of the building would have been MUCH quieter. Just to note the kitchen did not have any cutlery, glasses etc (be sure to bring your own) but did have a full-sized stove and refrigerator! The other odd thing was our king bed only had one nightstand, which was inconvenient. The location is on the edge of Chinatown so lots of great food, shopping and the subway, as well as close to Citi Field, which was the purpose of our visit!

Loved the executive suite. I was pleasantly surprised about the size of the room. It is so convenient to the airport (the free shuttle was great!) and to the Flushing Main Street sub station.

I will be back!
If you know NYC, this is a great place to stay: my room (a suite) was clean and HUGE, bigger than most Manhattan studios, with a desk, dining table, and kitchenette; there's a free 24h shuttle to LGA; and the 7 train (30min to Grand Central, less if express) is a 5-10min walk through NYCs largest Chinatown, so TONS of great restaurants. However, many tourists may wish to splurge on a stay in Manhattan, so as to be close to all of the attractions and glam.

We chose this hotel as we flew in to JFK and out of LaGuardia with a couple of nights in between and the cost of accommodation on Manhattan was way too expensive. This hotel is a few minutes walk from the LIRR station that gets you to central Manhattan in 20 minutes. It also has a complimentary shuttle to LaGuardia which was punctual and efficient. On arrival at JFK we got a cab which cost $45 tip. There are cheaper ways but after a transatlantic flight you just want the easiest way. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast one morning, the buffet seems overpriced but items from the a la carte menu were good value. Complimentary coffee in the lobby was very welcome. There is a shop right next door for snacks and drinks. We put drinks in the fridge and they froze solid! The room was a very good size, we had 2 beds. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean enough but all just needs refreshing. The air con was noisy, we just kept the fan on but that left the room a little hot. This is a predominantly Asian area, which made for interesting market stalls and food shops/restaurants if you know what you're ordering as the menus often weren't in English. Overall an ok stay and I would stay again.
