The room was cold, light blanket not enough for the room temp. The shower didn't drain so you stood in water for the whole shower. The room is modern and nice just not warm with the bed or a comfortable shower.

I asked the receptionist to give me a quieter room because I was on my day third of driving from the Midwest. At first, she rolled her eyes for me, but eventually she did give me a fairly quiet room. However, there was not any hand soap, washcloth, body lotion, hair conditioner in the bathroom Door was any information regarding how to connect to the Wi-Fi or the places to eat.

We decided to go to Reno for our honeymoon and picked the J Resort because of the ratings and price. We were definitely not disappointed. When we were checking in, Natalie, the girl at the desk, asked what our trip was for, so we told her, and I asked if there might be any chance we could get an upgrade. She politely said they were booked, but try this room out. If it's not to your liking let me know and I'll move you to another. We thanked her and headed to the room. When we got there and opened the door, it was a suite on the top floor! She was being coy and a pretty good actress at that. We had to head down and thank her personally and immediately. We had more luggage than we needed so we called the bell desk. Jesse was available right away and helped us get everything from the parking lot to the room upon check in and check out. He was personable and respectful and works his butt off. We only ate at Hannah's table, but the food was great, service was a well, and the prices were fair for what you get. We will definitely be making the J Resort our go to anytime we stay in Reno. Thank you guys for making an amazing time in our lives even better!

Definitely we will stay here again
Everything was very pleasant, from the check-in service to housekeeping. We have no complaints, Crystal at the check-in desk was very friendly and answered of all our questions. She set us up with housekeeping during our stay and we got complementary wine and charcuterie bites for our first night's stay. Our fridge was not working and once we called the front desk maintance addressed the issue right away and made sure we were taken care off. Definitely will be back!

The stay was good. My only complain is that I paid for a deposit when I was there Sept 5, 204 which equals to one night stay and it is not Oct 30. I have not seen my deposit back. I have reached out to the hotel and nothing. Don’t stay here. There are other hotels in the area.

The update is nice and the rooms are very clean and updated compared to rooms on The Row, however, there were no resort amenities like room service or even a pool open. Seemed empty with no a lot of staff. Would stay again for the niceness of the modern room.

The first night was goo, but the air conditioner stopped working on second night they came and said the problem was with how the thermostat worked he got it to work but it shut off in 30 seconds and then restarted which to me I’d say there was a problem with the thermostat. But he said everything was okay it just how they work at times. Then about 3:00am I woke to the room being very hot it had changed from air to heat on its own it was up to 75 degrees and only way to stop the heat was to turn everything off. To say the lease it wrecked our sleep. When I told them at checkout they just shrugged it off and didn’t seem interested.

I didnt like that there wasnt a fan in the bathroom or that the tv remote didnt work if you hooked another device to the tv. Otherwise it was a good place to stay
